Colleen Curley crowned 2020 Springfield Colleen, Court and Award Winners Honored


SPRINGFIELD — Colleen Curley, 17, of Springfield, was crowned the 2020 Springfield Colleen on Saturday night.

The Springfield Colleen Coronation and Awards Ceremony, sponsored by the Springfield St. Patrick’s Parade Committee, took place at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel.

Curley will be riding atop the Springfield float with Court members Grace McCarthy, 17, of Ludlow; Danielle Buoniconi, 17, of Ludlow, Maeve Shea, 17, of Longmeadow, and Marah McDonnell, 17, of Ludlow.

Other awards included:

  • Maura Troy Cournoyer received the Paul G. Caron Award.

  • The John & Agnes Burke Award was presented to Kerri F. Sullivan.

  • The Mary B. Troy Appreciation Award went to Stephen Allen Jewelers.

Sean Cahillane has been named the 2020 Springfield Parade Marshal.

Jordyn Jagolinzer of Western Mass News served as the mistress of ceremonies for Saturday night’s event.
